Brooke Dalton’s domestic interior vignettes are painted in bright acrylic chromes, capturing the vibrancy of decorated spaces with an immediacy that belies their sophistication. Dalton paints with directness and decisiveness, and it is this confidence that places her among the finest practitioners working within the interior and still life genre today.

Dalton’s practice steers clear of still life genre clichés, favouring instead a considered eye for colour, form and domestic atmosphere. Each work is beautifully varnished upon completion, demonstrating her elevated presentation standards, and meticulous studio process.
